NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OPEN ONLY TO FULL-TIME SCHOOL TEACHERS, PROFESSORS AND LIBRARIANS WHO ARE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR D.C. WHO ARE AGE 18 OR OLDER AND OF THE LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY. U.S. LAW GOVERNS THIS SWEEPSTAKES. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ELIGIBILITY: Ideas Are All Around Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to persons who as of the date of entry (and, if a winner, as of the date of prize fulfillment) are (i) a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (the “Territory”), (ii) 18 years of age or older and of the legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which the entrant resides, and (iii) a full-time (i.e., typically scheduled to work 35 or more hours per week) school teacher (teaching kindergarten through 12th grade classes at a public or private school), professor (teaching classes at a college-level institution) or librarian (working in a school, college, university or public library setting) employed at a school, college, university or public library location within the Territory. Persons who as of the date of entry (and, if a winner, as of the date of prize fulfillment) are employees of Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group (“Sponsor”) or any of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or advertising or promotion agencies, and members of the household (whether related or not) or immediate family of any such employee, are not eligible. U.S. law governs this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER: The entry period for the Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on March 1, 2016 and continues through 11:59 p.m. EST on April 30, 2016 (the “Entry Period”). No purchase is necessary. Website Entry: To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Entry Period, visit the website located at http://www.steadcollection.com/ideas-are-all-around (the “Website”) and follow the on-screen entry instructions. Each entrant will be required to fill out an online entry form (which will require the entrant to submit his or her name, birth month and year, e-mail address, profession (i.e., teacher or librarian), office mailing address, the name and address of the school or library in which the entrant is employed, the name of the entrant’s employer/supervisor and the telephone number of the employer/supervisor, and such other information as Sponsor may require) and to upload a photograph that explains how the entrant is inspiring creativity in the entrant’s classroom or library (e.g., a picture of the final product of a classroom/library activity or class project conducted by the entrant) (the “Photograph”). The Photograph must comply with all of the guidelines set forth in Section 3. All Website entries must be completed and received by Sponsor by no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on April 30, 2016. There is a limit of one entry per person and per email address via the Website for the duration of the Entry Period. Bonus Entries: After entering the Sweepstakes at the Website, entrants may obtain additional entries (each a “Bonus Entry”). There is a limit of one Bonus Entry per entrant per day, regardless of the method used by the entrant to obtain the Bonus Entry. An entrant must first enter the Sweepstakes by completing the online entry form at the Website before he or she can obtain Bonus Entries. The entrant can then obtain up to one Bonus Entry per day by sharing on Twitter or by posting on Sponsor’s Facebook page a message provided by Sponsor using the mechanism provided on the Website. Any such Tweet or post must include the hashtag #sweepstakes. Alternately, an entrant can obtain bonus Entries by mail. To obtain a Bonus Entries by mail, the entrant must legibly print by hand the entrant’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and date of birth and the phrase “bonus entry” on a postcard, and mail the postcard with proper first-class postage affixed to the Ideas Are All Around Sweepstakes, Attn: Bonus Entry, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, 175 Fifth Avenue FL 8, New York, NY 10010. Mailed entries must be postmarked by 11:59 p.m. EST on April 30, 2016 and received by Sponsor by 5:00 p.m. ET on May 7, 2016. There is a limit of one 3” x 5” card per mailing envelope. Each mailed entry submitted by an Entrant in accordance with these Official Rules will result in the Entrant obtaining one Bonus Entry, subject to the limit of one (1) Bonus Entry per day. General Entry Terms and Conditions: Entry times will be determined using Sponsor’s computer, which will be the official clock for the Sweepstakes. Normal time rates, if any, charged by the entrant’s Internet or mobile service provider will apply. All entries are subject to verification at any time. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of entry. Sponsor will have the right, in its discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility in a form acceptable to Sponsor (including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification). Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Photographs must be original and have been created solely by the entrant. In addition, each Photograph must comply with the following guidelines: (a) the Photograph must not exhibit the entrant engaging in or otherwise promoting any illegal, violent, dangerous or discriminatory behavior or contain any material that is threatening, indecent, violent, obscene or offensive, or that promotes a political agenda; (b) the Photograph must not include any brand name, trademark or logo of any entity (other than brand names, trademarks or logos associated with Sponsor ); (c) the entrant must own the copyright in the Photograph; (d) the Photograph must not previously have been previously published or won any award; (e) the Photograph must not contain any material that violates or infringes upon the rights of any third party, including without limitation any copyright, trademark or right of privacy or publicity, or that defames any person, or that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to any applicable law or regulation; (f) the Photograph must not depict any person other than the entrant unless such person is at least 18 years old and of the legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which the person resides (“Adult”); (g) if the Photograph identifies or depicts any person other than the entrant, the entrant must have prior to submission obtained written consent from such person to the use by the Licensees of the Photograph including such person’s name, image and/or other identifying information, as applicable, as permitted pursuant to these Official Rules; and (g) the Photograph must not contain any material that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate for public viewing and/or display. By submitting a Photograph, the entrant represents and warrants that he or she has complied with all of the foregoing requirements and has obtained all permissions, licenses and consents that are necessary for the submission of the Photograph and the use by the Licensees of the Photograph as permitted pursuant to Section 6 and to verify compliance with the foregoing requirements. The entrant agrees to provide to Sponsor at Sponsor's request copies of all such permissions, licenses and consents. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Photograph that Sponsor determines does not comply with these guidelines and/or to require or permit the entrant to make such changes to any Photograph as are necessary to make it compliant.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Following the conclusion of the Entry Period, two potential Grand Prize winners and 10 potential First Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The potential winners will be notified by e-mail (sent to the e-mail address provided by the entrant when entering), mail and/or telephone, in Sponsor’s discretion. If a potential winner cannot be reached within 72 hours of the initial notification attempt (Sponsor reserves the right not to leave messages on voice mail or answering machines), or fails to respond to any notification attempt within the time period specified by Sponsor, then the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may, at Sponsor's discretion, be selected from among the remaining eligible entries as outlined in these Official Rules (in which case the foregoing procedures will apply to such newly-selected entrant). Each potential winner may in Sponsor’s discretion be required to complete, sign and return to Sponsor an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release, or any other documentation provided by Sponsor in connection with verification of the potential winner’s eligibility and confirmation of the releases and grant of rights set forth in these Official Rules, within seven days of attempted delivery of same. Each potential winner may also in Sponsor’s discretion be required to complete and return to Sponsor an IRS Form W-9 within seven days of attempted delivery of same. If a potential winner fails to complete and return any Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, Publicity Release or other required Sweepstakes documentation within seven days of attempted delivery of same, or if any attempted notification or prize delivery is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner does not otherwise comply with these Official Rules and/or cannot accept a prize as awarded for any reason, then the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may, at Sponsor's discretion, be selected from among the remaining eligible entries as outlined in these Official Rules (in which case the foregoing procedures will apply to such newly-selected entrant).

PRIZES: Two Grand Prizes and 10 First Prizes will be offered. Grand Prizes: Each Grand Prize consists of (a) $500 awarded in the form of a check or another payment method determined by Sponsor to be used for the purchase of supplies for the winner’s classroom or library (as applicable) and (b) a classroom or library set of the following Philip C. Stead books: Hello, My Name is Ruby, Bear Has a Story to Tell, A Home for Bird, Jonathan and the Big Blue Boat, A Sick Day for Amos McGee, Creamed Tuna Fish and Peas on Toast, Lenny & Lucy, Special Delivery, Sebastian and the Balloon, and Ideas Are All Around (the “Stead Books”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is $658.91. First Prizes: Each First Prize consists of one set of the Stead Books. The ARV of each first prize is $158.91. General Prize Terms and Conditions: All prize details will be determined by Sponsor in its discretion. Restrictions may apply. The aggregate ARV of all prizes is $2,906.92. The exact value will depend on market conditions at the time of prize fulfillment. Each prize will be awarded if properly claimed. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of the right to receive the prize is permitted, except in the discretion of Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize (or a component thereof) with a prize or prizes of equal or greater value selected by Sponsor in its discretion. Each prize consists only of the item(s) expressly specified in these Official Rules. All expenses or costs associated with the acceptance or use of a prize or any component of a prize are the responsibility of the winner. Each prize is awarded “as is” and without any warranty by Sponsor. In no event will more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules be awarded. Use of gift cards (if applicable) is subject to issuer’s terms and conditions. All federal, state and local taxes on the value of a prize are the responsibility of the winner. An IRS form 1099 will be issued in the winner’s name if required by law.

GRANT OF RIGHTS: By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant irrevocably grants Sponsor, each of Sponsor’s parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, the successors and assigns of each of the foregoing, and the agents and licensees of each of the foregoing (all of them, collectively, the “Licensed Parties”) the right to use the entrant’s name, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements attributed to the entrant in perpetuity, throughout the world, in all media and formats whether now or later known or developed (including without limitation on the Licensed Parties’ respective websites and social media channels), for commercial purposes and any other purposes (including, without limitation, advertising and promotion), without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law. In addition, by entering the Sweepstakes and submitting a Photograph, each entrant irrevocably grants the Licensed Parties a non-exclusive license to publish, display, reproduce, modify, edit, create derivative works based on and otherwise use the entrant’s Photograph, in whole or in part, in perpetuity, throughout the world, in all media and formats whether now or later known or developed (including without limitation on the Licensed Parties’ respective websites and social media channels), for commercial purposes and any other purposes (including, without limitation, advertising and promotion), without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering the Sweepstakes, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant releases and agrees to hold each of the Licensed Parties, all other companies involved in the development or operation of the Sweepstakes, Twitter and Facebook, and the directors, officers, employees and assigns of each of the foregoing (collectively, the “Released Parties”), harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of the entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, the operation of the Sweepstakes, the provision, acceptance or use of a prize or any prize component or any use of the entrant’s name, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements attributed to the entrant or the entrant’s Photograph, including without limitation any and all claims and liabilities (a) relating to any personal injury, death or property damage or loss sustained by any entrant or any other person or (b) based upon any allegation of violation of the right of privacy or right of publicity, infringement of copyright, misappropriation or violation of any other personal or proprietary right. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or the provision, acceptance or use of a prize or any prize component. The Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of any prize, and are not responsible for late, lost, delayed, illegible, damaged, corrupted or incomplete entries or mail, postage-due mail, incorrect or inaccurate capture of, damage to, or loss of entries or entry information, or any other human, mechanical or technical errors of any kind relating to the operation of the Website, communications or attempted communications with any entrant, the submission, collection, storage and/or processing of entries or the administration of the Sweepstakes.

GENERAL RULES: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these Official Rules (including without limitation by adjusting any of the dates and/or timeframes stipulated in these Official Rules) or cancel, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes at any time in its discretion, including without limitation in the event that a virus, bug, technical problem, entrant fraud or misconduct, or other cause beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupts the administration, integrity, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes or if for any other reason Sponsor is not able to conduct the Sweepstakes as planned (including without limitation in the event the operation of the Sweepstakes is interfered with by any fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or of public enemy, communications failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, federal, state or local law, order or regulation or court order). In the event of termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice will be posted on the Website and a random drawing will be conducted drawing to award the prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to the time of termination. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or prohibit from participating in the Sweepstakes any individual who, in Sponsor’s discretion, Sponsor determines or believes (i) has tampered with the entry process or has undermined the legitimate operation of the Website or the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair practices, (ii) has engaged in conduct that annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other entrants or any representative of Sponsor, or (iii) has attempted or intends to attempt any of the foregoing. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The use of agents or automated devices, programs or methods to submit entries is prohibited and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that it believes may have been submitted using such an automated device, program or method. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” means the person who is assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. An entrant may be required to provide proof (in a form acceptable to Sponsor – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification) that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry in question. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be verified or returned. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. These Official Rules may not be reprinted or republished in any way without the prior written consent of Sponsor.

DISPUTES: By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or the acceptance and/or use of any prize, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action (Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow restricting access to class actions. This provision will not apply to you if you live in such a jurisdiction); (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of the entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Sweepstakes or relating to these Official Rules shall be instituted only in the federal or state courts located in the State of New York, waiving any right to trial by jury, and each entrant consents to jurisdiction therein with respect to any legal proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising under or relating to these rules or the Sweepstakes. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and any Sweepstakes information provided elsewhere (including but not limited in advertising or marketing materials), these Official Rules shall prevail.

USE OF INFORMATION: Sponsor and/or its agents and contractors will collect personal information regarding entrants, which will be subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy available at http://us.macmillan.com/privacy-notice. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that information submitted by or obtained from or concerning the entrant in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used as permitted pursuant to Sponsor’s privacy policy, and may also be used in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes. Information provided in connection with the Sweepstakes is provided to Sponsor and not to Twitter or Facebook.

WINNERS’ NAMES AND RULES REQUESTS: For the names of the winners, available after March 1, 2015, or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Ideas Are All Around Sweepstakes, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, 175 Fifth Avenue FL 8, New York, NY 10010. Vermont residents may omit return postage.
